Super Quick Teenager!

Don't know about you but I am so pleased that the weekend is here as I'm going to Scrapbook Sisters crop tomorrow. I have high hopes of getting some cards made but I'll probably end up chatting all day as usual!
As I haven't had time to make any cards this week I thought I'd bore you with another number card, this is the super quick Cricut make, 45 minutes start to finish.

I didn't even add hand drawn stitching to this one, just a couple of punched flowers and a punched circle assembled at the edge.

Excuse my daughter's writing it was needed so quickly that she'd written it before I realised I'd not photographed it.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-

Leaf It Out !

It's time for a new challenge with Scrapbook Sisters and the theme for this week is" Leaves" for my DT card I used the rather lovely Ivy digi by Gayle Bond,it did have some lovely swirly tendrils on the digi but it didn't fit in with my design so  once I'd used the Copics to colour them,I cut round the leaves only.

My card is just a tiny gift card which I cut using my Nestability Squares, yes I did get the shape right lol I wanted a scalloped rectangle so to achieve this I  cut the square then moved the die along one scallop and ran it through the cuttlebug again, easy!

I'm using this card for the following challenges:
Celebrate The Occasion32,Use ribbon,
MIM56,Anything goes,
The Ribbon Girl 11,Colour challenge,green&brown.

Totally Ladybug Tuesday.

Well,it's all happening at the LADYBUGS,Laurie is now a permanent Bug and I've been given my wings, actually,I might get them taken away next week but that's a whole new story, will fill you in next Tuesday lol! Seriously though, I was beginning to think that I was destined to keep the GDT title forever but it turned out to be an oversight ;) Thanks Lisa!
What did you all think of the new Magnum Digis, aren't they fab! I hope you all enjoyed the "hop" as much as we did!
I used my Magnum stamp for this week's DT card .

The challenge this week, set by Amanda is to use Autumn colours with the option of using additional folds in your project. This was just the kick up the backside that I needed to make an easel card, I don't know why I've left it so long since I last made one,I love making them!

I used  some neglected Basic Grey papers and some off cuts from my drawer. The papers had some,(sorry have forgotten the name but they look like teardrop shapes) I cut these out and turned them into a flower with the addition of a punched circle to the centre. A papermania scalloped border die, doubled up to make the panel across the middle,it doesn't show in the photo but I used up some sequins which IRL add a bit of interest to the brads. I used a brown fine liner to add the blanket stitching to the edges of my papers,I saw a tutorial somewhere the other week on how to do this, wish I could remember where so that I could share it.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
Incy Wincy,Fancy folds,
OLLCB89,Dies and punches,
Magical Mondays,Punches and dies,
Victorine Originals 17,Easel,
Come and Get it,Easel cards,
Pile It On 39,Fancy folds,
The Crafty Pad 140,Stitching,
Just Some Lines,Fall colours.

Christmas Cutie And Blog Hop Winner.

Well wasn't last weeks Southern Girls Birthday Blog Hop fun! It's proving to be a difficult job choosing our winners, especially as the design team are spread out all over the world. I took the easy option to choose my winner, I gave every lovely commenter a number and then made my daughter pick from them.  So here goes, the winner of 5 Di's Digi's  is Kasey - in Oz! Congratulations, please leave me a message so that I know you've read this and then email  to find out how to collect your brilliant prize.

So on to todays Southern Girls challenge,a nice easy one for everyone! "Anything Goes".Check out the challenge blog for details of the fab sponsors for this fortnight.

I used a Robyns Fetish digi that I picked up last year, coloured it with Copics, paper pieced the box and placed the box edge onto the edge of my card blank before cutting it out. I'm getting a bit hooked on making shaped cards, they are such fun don't you think? The gold die cut, printed tag was a ready made jobbie I've had in my drawer for years so I thought I'd use it up rather than spend time I haven't got creating one.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
ABC Christmas,S Spots,shaped,
Digi Stamp For Joy 28, Anything goes,
The Paper Shelter32,Anything goes,

Ladybugs Go Digital Blog Hop!

Oh My Goodness!!! I am so pleased that you called by to check out the AMAZING NEWS ! The Ladybugs are going Digital! YES! you heard me right! The new release Magnum Digis are available STRAIGHT AWAY!!! and they are only £2 a shot, result or what !  You can see what you like and be colouring within a few minutes!
(Can you tell that I'm more than a little excited about it)
So to celebrate the news the ladybugs are having a new release Blog Hop. If you didn't find your way to me from the lovely Amanda's Blog you need to find your way back to the LCI Challenge blog to start your journey. The theme for this week is Animals.

For my card I got to use the fantastic new image "Remote Control Magnum"  The thing I love about using Digis is that you get to make the image the size that you want so I went LARGE and cut around my image after placing the top of the chair on the fold of the card. I also paper pieced the chair, adding shading with a C1 Copic. Now I don't know what it's like in your house, but in mine,I never get to touch the remote control, so I thought it would make a fun  card to give him in doors for our anniversary.(I'm hoping he sees the funny side of it.) I couldn't make up my mind on the sentiment, in fact the card took no time to make,it was the words that took the time!

If you can think of some words that go better,I still have a week to change them ;)
So I'm hoping that you like my card, the next stop on the hop is Laurie, the "New Bug on the Block" So be sure to call by and leave her some welcome love! There's great prizes to be won remember,a full set of new releases for one lucky crafter and a digi of their choice goes to 5 others, good luck!         Have fun on the hop!

Key Of The Door.

This is my second attempt at a post today,I managed to forget to save my first one AAAaahhhhh!!!!!
So now this will be short and sweet.

I designed this card along with another for Julie at Scrapbook Sisters to teach in her Wednesday card class last week.

The numbers and the flower were cut on the Cricut using Plantins Schoolbook.  So easy that I made another yesterday in under 3/4 an hour.

I thought a tag to write was the way to go and the obligatory bunting was hand cut as usual.

Totally Ladybug Tuesday

Morning all! wasn't the "Ladybug" blog hop fun last week,I had so many lovely comments, the new Wrinkley's look like they are going to be extremely popular and there really were some amazing entries to the challenge.
This week it's Michele's challenge at LCI and the theme is "Flowers",

For my DT  card I used Wine stool  Nicky, I cut her out placing a strip of acetate behind the legs of the stool to help protect  them from bending. I had a bit of trouble getting a clear photo with all the glitter and sparkle, the eye shadow stickles caused me the most trouble.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
